A New Year Full of Thoughts and Purposes: Reflections on Knowledge, Responsibility and Fitness
Hello guys and girls!
KNOWLEDGE…from neurosciences, through quantum physics, nutrition, disease prevention, pharmaceutical conspiracies and metaphysics or spirituality.
Only by knowing more and more does one realize that they really know nothing, or what they know is very little and relative compared to everything that can be known and is out there to know.
Only what comes from one's own experience, what one has lived, what one has tried and worked can…should speak and share each one…because RESPONSIBILITY is enormous and all of us who move in this sector, in this industry of fitness & wellness or if it sounds better bodybuilding and fitness, since we are influential people we have…we should investigate…analyze….weigh everything we say, write and share on our social networks because we can reach many people and affect the life well or badly of these people.
Responsibility in the fitness industry
The impact of social media on fitness
Throughout this year I didn't publish because I don't intend to be just another parrot, a repeater of all the common information from social networks with the fitness world. I only intend to be authentic, original, myself with my ideals, beliefs and crazes of enthusiasm and desire to know and understand the reality of things that many take for granted, believing that they already KNOW, UNDERSTAND, UNDERSTAND everything that is out there to know.
However, nothing is further from reality if we analyze things under a magnifying glass of current science that increasingly demystifies the mystical and erases the borders of separatism of fields and themes and allows us to see with a broader, more holistic, more panoramic way.
Current problems in the fitness industry:
- Contradictory information: Each influencer says something different
- Pseudoscience: Many claims without scientific basis
- Excessive commercialization: Economic interests over health
- Lack of personalization: Unique solutions for everyone
The importance of critical thinking
Most people have concepts, knowledge, beliefs related to life and everything that exists as if they already had everything clear and everything they believe they know is unbreakable, unquestionable and form pillars, solid foundations in the mind of collective masses.
However, many of these beliefs, concepts or ideologies have nothing to do with the experiments, discoveries and current knowledge of the various fields of science. On the contrary, many of the known and accepted models are obsolete, outdated and it would be necessary to take from fresh waters and update.
The search for true knowledge
A philosophy of constant learning
To start I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, but I have this restlessness and insatiable curiosity of children to know and understand more about the world and the life that surrounds me…and this search is what doesn't let me rest at night when everyone sleeps and rests, but tirelessly leads me to search, to investigate to have answers to the thousands of questions and the only thing I already have clear is that it is nothing like it seems, that things are not as they have told us or that is SOMETHING DOESN'T ADD UP or with Shakespeare's words "Something smells bad in Denmark".
"Doubt is the beginning of wisdom." - Aristotle
For this reason I am willing to question and renounce many of the solid foundations of my knowledge about the world, about life what I believed…to dismantle, reorganize, complement, restructure and assemble again.
Areas of knowledge we must explore
Scientific fields relevant to fitness and wellness:
- Neurosciences: How the brain affects performance and motivation
- Quantum physics: New perspectives on energy and the body
- Advanced nutrition: Beyond calories and macronutrients
- Disease prevention: Fitness as preventive medicine
- Spirituality and metaphysics: The mind-body-spirit connection
The awakening of consciousness in fitness
Beyond physical training
I hope that with my publications I can contribute real value, inspire some to remove those blindfolds from their eyes that so bother us to remove and begin to see the world in another way more REAL, more OBJECTIVE, more HOLISTIC and united to the essence of life itself contributing our grain of sand to this AWAKENING OF CONSCIOUSNESS.
Which is nothing just spiritual pink color, rites, chants and much smoke but quite the opposite something very real, very palpable that in reality means being people before everything RESPONSIBLE, CONSCIOUS, PRUDENT, MATURE, SELF-CRITICAL, SELF-TAUGHT and GRATEFUL and many other values more for which being human is more than a simple animal or a biological creature without more and without the application of these principles, values and ideals inevitably we will head towards self-destruction and the extinction of our race.
Fundamental values in responsible fitness
Essential principles for trainers and coaches:
- Responsibility: Each word has an impact on the lives of others
- Consciousness: Understand the consequences of our actions
- Prudence: Do not make claims without scientific support
- Maturity: Recognize our limitations and errors
- Self-criticism: Constantly question our beliefs
- Self-teaching: Learn continuously and proactively
- Gratitude: Appreciate knowledge and opportunities
Consciousness as applied science
Con + Science = Consciousness
The word consciousness comes from the words con + science or being conscious means living life and doing things with science or rather with knowledge and applying the main laws of life such as the law of cause and effect and question everything not even believe anything what I say or others say, but find out, investigate look and see pros and cons opinions and draw your own conclusions because the more knowledge we have the easier it will be to see through the veils of lies created by greed, by greed and by common sense discern and throw out the bad weed and see with an OBJECTIVE and CLEAR mind.
How to develop a critical mindset:
- Question everything: Don't accept anything without verifying
- Research multiple sources: Look for different perspectives
- Analyze pros and cons: Evaluate all aspects
- Draw your own conclusions: Based on evidence
- Keep an open mind: Accept that you may be wrong
Commitment to truth in fitness
Why I didn't publish for so long
My absence from publications was not due to lack of interest, but to a commitment to authenticity. In a world saturated with repetitive and superficial information, I prefer to share content that really adds value, that comes from real experience and that is backed by updated scientific knowledge.
What I DON'T want to be:
- A repeater of unverified information
- A generator of empty content
- A follower of trends without foundation
- A seller of magical solutions
What I DO want to be:
- A source of authentic knowledge
- A constant researcher
- A questioner of the established
- A contributor of real value
Upcoming reflections and sharing knowledge
In my next publication I will tell you why and how I gradually came to my conclusions today and I will share with you all those sources and seeds of knowledge that broadened my view and let me see beyond where conventional brainwashing lets us see.
What you will find in future publications:
- Sources of knowledge: Scientific and academic references
- Personal experiences: What has really worked
- Critical analysis: Evaluation of popular beliefs
- Holistic perspectives: Connect different fields of knowledge
- Practical application: How to apply this knowledge in your daily life
Conclusion: the path to a more conscious fitness
The world of fitness and wellness needs more people who take seriously the responsibility of sharing information. It's not about having all the answers, but about asking the right questions and being willing to question, learn and evolve constantly.
"True knowledge consists in knowing that we know nothing." - Socrates
Remember:
- Knowledge is a process, not a destination
- Humility is the basis of true learning
- Responsibility comes with influence
- Authenticity is worth more than popularity
If you are in the fitness world, whether as a trainer, coach, nutritionist or simply as someone who shares information, become aware of your responsibility. Every word you share can influence someone's life. Doing it with science, authenticity and humility is the only way to a truly transformative fitness.
See you soon!
